A Good Day at Dixie Wing
Precon turned out to be a fun time yet again. It was a little sketchy there for a while with the rain that was coming down but we lucked out and it moved south around us. The bus rolled on down to CAF Dixie Wing for the photo Safari. Every CAF hangar is a little bit different and this one was no different. They actually are a really good group of guys and were nice enough to move the planes around wherever we needed them. We had a Kate and Zero replicas along with their beautiful SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber as well as an SNJ and T6. It was a great collection to work with along with a great class. I haven’t gotten through all the images but I wanted to post this one shot of the Zero. Simple click with a D4 and 24-70. We had two ladders setup giving that higher perspective.
