Keeping With the Theme

Since yesterday’s post was about the importance of keeping the library updated and getting images processed as quickly as possible I thought i would keep with that idea and blog some photos that I have been working getting through and up. It kind of feels like house chores on the computer but it is also fun reliving some of the places that I’ve been. This is a good instance.

This is a place called Elkhorn State Park. It is a really tucked away place north of Butte, Mt. I went first went there a number of years ago and have been there a couple of times. Needless to say, it’s a drive to get there. Well the really cool feature about this place is that it has two large authentic theaters that are both double story. Fraternity Hall, as this one is known as, allows visitors in the summer time to go inside and see what it like to walk back in time.

The really cool thing about this hall is that looking one way in the afternoon and it’s really dark. You turn around and look behind you and the place looks warm and bright. It’s this one feature that really caught both mine and Dad’s eye. Dark and gloomy one way, warm and bright the other.
